Growler courtesy of Geraint and Helen cheers you two, this following a meet the brewer evening at the Horse and Groom Caulcott with John from Turpin brewery. Had this at home Thursday 28th January 2016 Pours dark brown with little or no head precious few bubbles. A waft of coffee on the nose, with some maltiness and a bit of milk chocolate. The hops are very much present in the mouth but subtle on the nose. Considering that this was sat on the doorstep all night and it was a frosty night it’s in pretty good nick. Its a good beer, however I should like to try a beefier version, more of the same but maltier and about 6%. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
