«loosely in the style of a Bavarian Wheat Beer» Hellgelbe und sehr trübe Farbe im Glas, eher kein Schaum. Keine Zutaten. Ich bin gespannt. Sauer-fruchtiger Geruch.

Bottle. Sweet lemon, musty coriander/clove, and wheat malt. Hazy golden yellow color with small head. Sweet-tart lemon, musty coriander and wheat malt flavor. Nice body. Very good - much more like a Belgian witbier though.

Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. Poured a cloudy deep yellowy gold colour with a large white head. Aroma very lemony; I threw a slice of lemon in to the glass, but am not sure it was even necessary such was the potency of the lemon, which smothers all aspect of this beer. ’Hooch’ even started to permeate my thinking on this one! Nonetheless, i did quite enjoy this and have had far worse german weissbiers in the past.

500ml bottle from the brewery. Hazy golden beer with thickish white head. Lemon/yeast aroma. Slightly sour in the mouth and a touch soapy too. Yeast adds body and complexity. Lemon finish with some nuttiness. Pleasant attempt at a german wheat beer.
