Bottle Torben Mathews tasting. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Straw notes. Light bitter average finish. Oily palate.

Bottled. Clear golden, rich lively head. Some unfortunate boiled vegetables takes charge in the nose. Sweet with clean mouthfeel and medium body. The honey is quite evident, and probably also responible for the vegetable flavour as well as theexcessive sweetness. Still it remains drinkable, and the rather well structured malt character provides some enjoyment after all.

Cask @Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2006. Golden colour with no head. Sweet malty fruity aroma. Some hints of honey in the aroma. Sweet malty flavor with some bitterness. Dray malty bitter finish.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. Deep gold with lasting white head. Honey beer, some good honey. Rest of it flails around a bit. Good dryness on the end. Compared with the meads we had here though....
