Untergäriges, bernsteinfarbenes Festbier.

Kräftig malzaromatisch, angenehm zimtartig im Geschmack wird dieses Bier außerdem durch eine dezente Bittere charakterisiert. Mit einer ausgewählten Mischung von Malz aus Gersten unserer Erzeugergemeinschaft und zusätzlichen Spezialmalzen brauen wir dieses Bier ein.

Das Bier wird ausschließlich zur Kirchweihzeit – „Frankens schönster Zeit“ – eingebraut. Es ist von Mitte Juli bis Ende Oktober erhältlich.

Clear, copper color and a small white head. Honey and caramel nose. Taste is malty, decent sweet caramel and honey flavors. Some metallic twist at finish.

Landwehr-Bräu Fränkisches Kirchweihbier, Flasche von Markgrafen, Bad Windsheim. - Schönes Kupfergoldbraun, klar. - In der Nase fast märzenartig dichtes toastig-karamelliges Malz und mild-aromatische hopfenwürzige Herbe, klassisch fränkisch. - Antrunk sauber karamellig-toastmalzig, sortentypisch fülliger aber nur wenig süß. Feine hopfenwürzige Herbe mit Orangenschalenbittere. Milder rezent, vollmundig, weich. Im Abgang schön würzige Hopfenherbe mit etwas Pfeffer. Schwächelnder Nachtrunk. - Typisch fränkisches Festbier, nicht nur satt malzig sondern auch solide gehopft. Vielleicht etwas zu brav. (21.10.2022.)

Würzig herber Beginn, süffig. Die Herbe ist weich, die milde Würzigkeit schafft einen passenden Gegenpol, harmonisch. Geringe Bitterkeit, malzig mit karamelligem Touch, minimal röstig. Mittellanger Nachhall. 7/9/8/8//9

50cl bottle from kevnic2008, many thanks! Pours clear amber colour with a mid-sized light beige head. Aroma of toasted malt, mild hops. Taste is sweet malty, caramel, dry malt, mild hops.

Pours a clear deep golden colour with a frothy white head. Aroma of malts, grain and light notes of grass.

Bottled. Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready, toffeeish, quite herbal and also nice grassiness to it. Flavour is fruity, grassy with a very nice malty balance to it. Fresh, and quite pleasant.

This beer has a sweetness to it, almost like it had some cola added to it (not as much as in a col-bier, but just a little). Color is dark golden with a thick foamy head. Aroma is nutty and floral. Taste of caramel and toffee. I knew this brewery would have at least one style that was decent...

bottle from biershop-bayern.de. Clear amber colour, large white head, very persistent. Malty aroma. Full-bodied, intensively malty with hints of toffee fudge and roast flavours. Lingering finish with a touch of hops.

Bottle 500ml. @ Fastelavnssmagning, Ulfborg.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, molasses, caramel, light roasted, sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
