Lucky you. Quite the Irish blessing, this brew will envelop you in an enchanting warm, roasty aroma as you sip on a smooth swirl of creamy vanilla, chocolate, and coffee. Sláinte!

Deep dark brown almost black. With a small head. Aroma is sweet chocolate and caramel. Taste is wonderfully the same.

Sweet, full of fudge, vanilla, coffee, and a little caramel, backed up by almond, dark fruit, and a little roast. Finishes as sweet as it starts, with a saccharine bitterness in the fade. Not for me.

16 oz. can from Total Wine. Friday the 13th! Pours a pitch black color with a large tan head with excellent retention. Pretty good lacing too. Faint dark roasted malt and chocolate aroma. As advertised, all the flavors are there: Dark roasted malt, dark chocolate, vanilla and caramel. And then the heavy alcohol kicks in on the finish. The 9.4% ABV is overbearing. This would be so much better at 5-6% ABV. Medium body. Slick mouthfeel, and low carbonation and low bitterness. Sweet. Good flavors, but too strong.
