11-12-18 // draft at Lemke Hackescher Markt. at Brauhaus Lemke Clear dark mahagony. Creamy beige head. Nose of dark roasted malts. Bitter chocolate and sone coffee in the aroma. Dry bitter roast malts.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy golden orange with a smal boff white head. Aroma is breadish and toasted malty. Bitter, toasted and dry malty. Medium dry malty finish.

On tap at the brewpub, as Winterbock. Clear amber colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, light spicy, hint of toast. Flavour is also sweet, fudge, light spicy, light bitter spicy finish. Light-bodied. OK.

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, brown sugar, licorice - anis, nutty notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091204]
