From a friend: this is the Barge Rousse, which I am trying to figure out if it is different from the Ambree... ao far no luck on the net... rating should be moved to a new rating. In any case, it pours brownish amber with an off white head. Aroma is lightly fruity, malts, typical biere de garde. Taste is dry, malty, super light bitterness. Not bad.

Bottled at TEJA tasting. Lightly hazy bright copper amber. Perfumy nose with pears, grass and bread. Dryish with medium body and soft, firm mouthfeel. Canteloupe, toast, spicy hops. Long bitter finish. Superb malt character - deep, yet dry and chewy. Peppery bitter finish.

Aroma 6. Appearance 4. Taste 6. Palate 3. Overall 13. Malt and fruit aroma. Nice dark orange color and a lasting creamy head. Balanced sweet and bitter aroma along fruit and roasted cereals taste. A short but good aftertaste.

Bottle. Amber beer with a dark cream head. Malt aroma. Caramel and light floral flavor with spice and herbal notes. Medium bodied. Caramel and light floral notes linger with spice and herbal notes.

Bottle at home, name was Barge Rousse, amber red beer, small head. Aroma is malt, caramel, fruit. Taste is the same, somewhat nutty, sweet and some bitter, not bad.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. clear hazy ambree coliur lasting beige head. good malt some toffee some decent maltiness. Some hop on the finish. Yep decent enough. Yes a good malty ambree. Liked it.

Bottled (backlog). Amber colour, small, but longlasting foamy head. Aroma is caramel, mild floral and herbal notes along with some bready notes. Flavour is bready, floral, grassy and some earthy and quite sweet notes to it.

330ml Flasche. Leicht trübes dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht malzig, würzig, fruchtig. Geschmack sehr fruchtig würzig. Rote Beeren.

Deep amber color, small steady white head. Aroma has red currant, yeast and vegetables. Medium-bodied. Sweetish fruity, yeasty flavor (vegetables), berries. Covers alcohol quite well but not very interesting.
