Hazy brownish. Aroma is mossy earthy cellar flavours with a little minerally malty base. Taste is sweet caramel malt with less moss. Also a little minerally sour. Rather light. Ok. Too much moss though

On tap. Pours a clear nutty brown with a beige head. Very subtle roast aroma. Body is actually rather thin with little flavor. Disappointing. 100720

18-04-19 // tasting flight at Brauhaus am Waldschlösschen Clear amber brown. Beige head. Toasted bread nose. Roasted malts with mild chocolate. Good dunkel.

Small size, served in a glass a foot tall. In fact, extra appearance point for the size of the glass. Cloudy almost murky amber brown. Aroma of burnt toast and cocoa. Taste is chocolate brownies

Tap at the brewpub. Brownish in the glass, small head. Malty aroma, a bit moldy. Starts mild, malty, light roasty, hints of caramel. Finish still mild, almost a bit washy. Okay.

On tap at the brewpub. Klare orange braune Farbe, mittelgroße beige schaumkrone. Geruch ist karamellig malzig, nussig. Geschmack ist nussig malzig, karamellig mild gehopft okay.

Draught @ Brewpub. Pours ruby amber with a creamy head. Dark fruit and vague roast. Good caramel. Medium bodied. Enjoyable.

draught at the brewpub. Hazy brown colour, large off-white to beige head. Roasty malt flavours, slightly hopps. Quite mild, but with a pleasant roasty character.
