Bottle from Systembolaget. Lovely ale with gorgeous wine smell and decent deep colour. Taste is wholesome. (24/11/17) ---- Keg at Captain Cooks, Östersund. 4 to 3.7. Lovely deep and smokey malty julöl. Wholesome as described above despite the rating drop. (10/12/20) ----- Keg at Captain Cooks, Östersund. Supposedly a change of recipe somewhat. Now much more Stouty, as if the coffee Stout malt has been transferred to this. Claimed to be more like an English old ale but that's simply not true. More like am American old ale - its the wrong colour and far too meaty for English old. Not happy about this change in recipe:( 3.7 to 3.3
