Bottle This is a well balanced, quite complex beer. It has a clear amber body, with a lightly brown creamy head. The aroma is subtle and well balanced with a smoked touch (smoked bacon) as well as caramalts. The flavour is lightly bitter, lightly sweet, again malty and smokey.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of caramel, red berries, smoke, a touch of cinnamon and spicy hops. Malty taste with caramel, toasty and smoked malt, red berries and a spicy, citrussy bitterness leaning in the marmalade direction. Slightly above medium body, with a little alcohol bite in the finish. Smoke initially a bit subdued, but comes through as the beer warms up. Nice and well balanced beer.

Draught at Sorbon, Stockholm. Clear nut bron, creamy head. Heavily smokey nose with light fruityness. Rather dry and craelly with well sized rounded body. The smoke is more subdued in the flavour, but there’s licrice and beechwood there. Finihes with mild trry bitterness. Solid and interesting.
