Slight haze on this pale gold beer. Tidy white head. Light tangy malt nose. Light dry palate, a little soft. Lagerish malt, a little sweet. Yes there is a little honey. Finishes dry. Overall too dry and somewhat insipid.

Bottle. Honey barley malt, hay and bitter/metallic aroma. Hazy golden yellow color with small head. Slightly sweet barley malt and mildly bitter herbal hops flavor. Not bad.

12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a shaker. Pours a sparkling clear, urine colored yellow. Kinda like apple juice. Almost nonexistent bright white head that disappears in an instant. Aroma is slightly sweet malt with a strong scent of honey and a slight sent of rotting garbage. Taste is lightly bitter and medium-heavy sour. Thin bodied with a thin oily texture. Fizzy carbonation and an abrupt bitter finish. Overall, this beer is not very good. Way too sour in my opinion for a honey beer. This is probably the worst beer Big Sky offers. Save yourself the time and money and buy literally anything else from this brewery.

Bottled@The 2nd ES/CS Beer Tasting. (thanks J.S.!). Pale yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat, honey, some mild grains and toffee. Flavour is honey, toffee, mild nectar as well as some mild wooden notes. Thin and not all that balanced.

Draught at the Viking, Spokane, WA. Clear golden, minimal head. Some honey and grain up front. Clean, yet creamy with light-medium body. A bit juicy/fruity with slight salty bitterness.

12oz bottle. Pale yellow-tan color with a slight haze. Minimal, non-head. Sweet mellow malt/brewery aroma. A pretty good honey beer, well balanced. The honey adds a pleasant sweetness to the mellow nutty malts tones, and the hops give it a nice sharpness up front. The spicing addition is subdued and well incorporated. Nothing phenomenal, but it hits the mark pretty well for a honey beer.

Nice slightly hazy golden coloured body with a lot of bubbles rising from the bottom. Thin white head tops the beer with not much else. Aroma of honey, coriander seed, light malt, a touch of hops and some minor caramel. Light-bodied; Sharp honey and light citrus notes with some minor floral touches. Aftertaste shows some sweetness, a bit of malt and a little coriander seed. Overall, not such a great beer, but not horrible. Just not showing much - a touch of sweetness if anything, perhaps a good beer for the season! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased earlier today at La Bodega in Anchorage, Alaska on 26-June-2010.

12 oz bottle into English pint. Aroma is fairly bland, but it’s a little spicy--there’s a hint of clove here. Pours a clear bright gold hue with a medium head and fairly creamy lace. Taste is salty sweet with very little bitterness. Honey is definitely noticeable but not overbearing. Nice breadlike grainy aftertaste. Carbonation is high. Body is medium. Overall it’s a very nice summertime beer, and much better than I remember it.

Bottle thanks to swalden28. Pours with a white head that falls over a clear golden body. Aroma of lemon, spice and toilet bowl cleaner. Taste is very strong of corn flakes, bitter and a touch spicy hop profile. Fizzy. One of if not the worst Big Sky products that I have tried.
