A lime, hibiscus and chilli gose brewed with Casita Cerveceria as part of the 2017 Rainbow Project, inspired by the colour red. Pouring a vibrant red, this michelada influenced gose has rich, savoury, sweet, chocolate flavours from a wide variety of dried chillies, tamarind, and cinnamon, accentuated by the bright tart flavours of hibiscus and lime. A subtle complexity of flavours followed up by refreshing tastes from the aguas de tamarindo, Jamaica, limón, and horchata.

On tap at Leeds International Beer Festival, 2017. Pours hazy red with minimal off-white head. Fruity, spicy, hibiscus, cherries, some berries. Low carbonation. Moderate sourness. Medium bodied. Easy drinkable with weird combination of ingredients, but somehow it all works out well.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy rich deep red with a quickly dissipating pinkish head. The aroma is rich, bitter - sweet, warning spice, cinnamon, Takis, chilli and red cola. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, bright, salted lime, some mouth - pucker, hibiscus, tart red berry, some red chill, Takis and mojito with a hint of warming spice through the finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Sounds bizarre, but works rather well. Balance works well. Enjoyable.

330ml can from Magic Rock online. Pours deep red in colour with a short-lived pink foam head. Aroma of hibiscus, citric, mellow fruity. Flavour is sour, then sherbert sweet sugary, and lime zest, wheaty, lactic, salty notes, with some hay. Light bodied, sptrizy carbonation, dry sour & salty plus some warming chilli heat at the finish. Refreshing and quite drinkable.
