16/8/2025. Can shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Nice colour but less head on this pour. Aroma is chocolate, marshmallow, chocolate crunch, roasted malts, nutty edge. Sweetness is kept subdued by a good dose of roasted bitterness. Medium plus body, quite smooth. Decent.

440ml can from Craft & Berry. Gluten Free. Black brown colour, bubbly beige foam head and aroma of chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow, wafer. Taste is sweetish, rich malty, chocolate, wafer, dark fruits, berry & cherry hints, and vanilla, coffee, booze, with roasted earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, boozy fruity roasty bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Cask my dang. Sits nearly black. Head looks like a nitro pour. Nose has bitter chocolate. Coffee grinds. Booze steeped vine fruit. Vanilla pod. Taste is earthy fruity bitter. Really quite dry and nowhere near as sweet as I’d anticipated. Full body but easy drinking. Slick and smooth. Lingering vinous bitter chocolate finish. Scarily moreish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Impy Luxe on 24 May 2025 at 01:59 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7.5 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 8. Original review text: Tap at source. Nearly black. Foamy tan swede. Loads of chocolate and some roast coffee malt. Bit of vanilla. Taste is expectedly sweet with a little dry and bitterness. Smooth in a kind of milkshake way. Moderate bitterness to finish. Nice albeit a little unrelenting on the sweetness.

Half cask at brewery. Dark brown pour with a filmy beige head, rings of lacing. Big chocolaty aroma, sweet, rich. Taste hits like melted chocolate, creamy , sweet, light roast if you look for it. Cask only enhances the chocolate shake vibe going on here.
