Black with a tan cap that escapes to the edge.
Nose is chocolate, sugars, dark malts, molasses, raisins.
Taste comprises chocolate cake, mellow roast, dates, toffee, brown sugar melt.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow kiss of alcohol.
Tidy enough impy stout if perhaps a little simplistic.

Almost clear but very dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Airy palate, fairly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth dark malts, an impressive bitter sweet tension. Fairly rich amd bitterish dark chocolate underpins a lighter but obvious candy chocolate. Finishes airy and semi dry with a rich fruity chocolate finish. Mild dry coffee runs throughout. Rich and tasty. A challenging Impy for the generation that has grown up with the ubiquitous pastry style. I liked it

Sampled @ Van Moll Fest 2025. Opaque black color, average sized beige to light brown colored head. Aroma and flavor are malts, soft roast, vanilla, coconut, sweet and bitter mixing, chocolate. Fantastic how all the flavors get together, superb balance. Awesome beer. 9-8-8,5-10-9

Malm� February tasting - new ???? brewery ? dark sweet malty with lots of velvety smooth chocolate, full bodied, vanilla accented dark malty finish,very nice.
