On tap at Esbjerg Beerfestival. A hazy, or rather milky, white-ish yellow-golden beer with a white head. Milky, lemony and chalky nose with grains. Sour flavor with lemon, some chalky, dusty notes, lemon hints and a grainy base-flavor. Medium body, feeling a bit watery, astringent. Citrusy, wheaty finish. A refreshing and quenching beer, lovely actually. 091023

Draught at EsBF09. Very mild citric aroma. Cloudy very pale yellow colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is citric, more lemony than lactic, but I like that. The finish is a bit drier than their standard Medley Berliner Weisse.

Handbottled. A hazy light golden beer with a fast disappearing white head. The aroma has notes of wheat and yoghurt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of lemon and wheat, as well as notes of other citrus fruits and yoghurt, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Cloudy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma has too much vinegar rather than lacto, with apple notes. Dry and tart flavour and slightly spicy

Tap @ Esbjerg Festival, 2009. Pours unclear hazy yellow with a small creamy head. Dusty, tart and wheaty. Somehow clean and refreshing. Pretty surprised that I liked it.

At the Ølfestival, Esbjerg, Denmark 23-10-09. I’m not sure but I think that this might be my first Berliner Weisse. This beer poured straw in colour with a white head. Tasted clean, crisp and refreshing but not overly sour. Nice wheatiness to this but for me a beer that I would prefer outside in the summer, still rate as you find and this was fine enough.
