In a world a world that's full of change, it's good to know that Lucky Beer offers something consistently good natured. Although the distinctive laughing Buddha bottle is central to our brand, Lucky Beer - and the good fortune it shares - transcends all religions, cultural boundaries and beliefs.

In its simplest form, we stand for goodwill for all humanity.

"If you think that enlightenment is separate from the drinking of beer you have not yet understood" Ancient Taoist Saying.

The "Laughing Buddha" depicted on Lucky Buddha beer is actually not THE Buddha and therefore not religious but cultural. He is incorporated in Buddhist, Taoist and Shinto traditions. The term buddha means "one who is awake", connoting one who has awakened into enlightenment.

330ml bottle @ Aroi Thai, Shrewsbury. Really did not expect to try a new beer when trying out this new Thai restaurant but here it is. Surprisingly nice actually. Sweet, tasty and easy-drinking. Can’t really say more than that. Even had two.

Bottle shared by Joe. At one terrible Chinese, Thai and American restaurant near Crater Lake. Man, this was better than the food and it was terrible. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium white head. A light nose of corn and honey. The flavor is sharp metallic funky grains, honey, sweet adjuncts. Light, OK. Drinkable but much worse than many other macros. Swill.

Pours a clear bright light gold with a fairly long lasting head of foam.

Big whafts of corn, sweets, the general and non deviating nose you get for the style.

Corny, grainy, sweetness reminds me of a malt liquor. Somewhere in there, just a kiss of the hops. Sorry Schlitz for stealing that.

Usual body. Run of the mill. Boring

330 ml bottle. Light golden color with a moderate Rocky white head. Aroma is light grassy, grainy malt. Flavorless and insipid. Carbonated and undesirable. Like bamboo shots mixed with seltzer water. My apologies to the bamboo shoots. What was I thinking.
