Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours an almost clear, golden body under an off-white head leaving some curtains. There’s also some chunks floating. The aroma is flowery and perfumed, with some resemblence to a public toilet, only without the nasty odors. Sweet, sugary flavor with fruits and flowers. Sweet and flowery finish. Full body. Except for the strange flower aroma, it’s a plesant beer, but I don’t think I could do more than one bottle. 091024

Bottle, 9%. Very bretty aroma. Hazy yellow colour, lots of big and small yeast bits floating around. Sweet flavour, has some brett, but not as citric as the aroma. I guess the flavour is elderflower, tastes all right.

Hazy, UFO-laden beer, chromate yellow, with an extremely short-lived head. Flowery nose, old wine, fruit- or flowerliqueur, fresh-sourish smelling, lunaria. Again an impression of old wine or precious liqueur, alcohol being very present until warming the tonguesides in the aftertaste. Tantalising glimpses of spring fruit, primeur vegetables, delicate despite the powerful alcohol. Very slick, medium to well-bodied, warming. The only thing I know that comes near, are home-distilled fruit/flower liqueurs or ditto fortified wines. Very special, and d’Ecaussinnes make a lightyear jump forward in my opinion.
