Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, pale golden beer with a small, off-white head sitting on top. Nice touch of alcohol in the aroma, combined with fruits, pale malts and white sugar. The flavor doesn’t reach the same level, but close, with fruits, alcohol, white sugar, some bitterness and faint hints of spices. Full-bodied, quite dry and warming. Bitter finish with pale malts and fruits. Overall, too much on the warm side, else it’s a decent beer indeed. 091024

Towering, just yellow-coloured head over metallic golden beer, well-carbonated. Slightly harsh grain & alcoholnose; bit of vanilla-cream. Horrible almondy-bitter alcoholflavour, harsh, uncouth, over sugary base. Bit of citrus retronasal. Raw palate; well-attenuated. Huyghe at its worst.
