Bottle, 7.5%. Sweet fruity aroma, a bit of ashtray. Hazy amber colour. Very small head. The flavour is sweet with a bit of tea. Not so clean, but no ashtray in the flavour.

Coca-Cola coloured beer, clear; with a short-lived off-white head, fast gone. Very honeyish nose, honingbollen , nice. True, not much else. Soft honeyish flavour, a bit bready, I’d be tempted to call this a soft German Doppelbock. Dark malts abound, and restsugars. Mineral water quality. Alcohol comes out, slick. Good one. De Bouillon is absolutely bettering its act.
