33 cl bottle at Café Ruiz. Pours pitch black with a thick, creamy, moka-coloured head. Aroma is blacberry and cola jellies, some liquorice, coffee beans. Mouthfeel is soft yet alcohol-laden. Full-bodied. Nice sourness balances the tremendous bitterness. Long-lasting finish with hints of tobacco.

Flaske 330ml. Batch 450. Gave fra Cristina & Pau. Svart. Middels høyt tett skum med litt brunfarge. Forsiktig sjokoladearoma. Smaken er tørket frukt som raskt blir etterfulgt av tørr røstet malt. I tørreste laget. Uklar siste kvelling.

Marrón oscura, casi negra. Espuma cremosa beige. Aroma que mezcla base de café y tostado, con ricas notas frutales. En boca es muy agradable y equilibrada. Malteada muy tostada, chocolate y punto acido frutal. Final potente puro chocolate, bien amargo. Muy buena. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Taste is slightly dry grassy, weeds, pine needles, hops, dark malts, bark, sour coffee, burnt caramel, licorice. Longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Nice enough, but I’d rather say black IPA about this one...

330ml Bottle - Black in colour. Liquorice, roasted malt and some hop resin in the aroma. Roasted and slightly hoppy taste with hop resin, roasted malt, liquorice and cocoa detected.

Bottle shared at Chrisso’s May 2014 tasting 25/05/2014. Ruby red / caramel coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is berry fruit, orange citrus, caramel. Flavour is cherry, caramel, honey malts, wood and spices. Palate semi-sweet unrefined sugars and frothy.

Tasting at the ever gracious ChrisO’s. Lightly hazy red - amber beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light and airy. Slightly sweet and airy dark malts. Little cream and a touch of dark fruits. Light coffee. Light finish. Well integrated.

Bottle at Chriso. It pours dark brown with a small biege head. The nose is sweet, cola, caramel, candied orange peel, earth, varnish and dirt. The taste is roasted malt, toast, sweet, treacle, cocoa, earth, cocoa, dirt and ash with a dry, roasty finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Pretty OK.
