Amazing raspberry and blueberry nose with nice funkiness and fruitiness’s . Full on tannins rich dry palate but the wine is so over powering you get a fair amount of bourse blanket funk in there are well but this is really big and bad ass. I love it.

750mL bottle at Cantillon for Quintessence 2025, pours a deep dark mahogany with a large beige head. Aroma has lots of musy red wine grape skins, moderate barnyard funk, and a touch of earthy leather. Flavour is complex, with a wonderful red wine grape skin character that combines well with the barnyard funk. There’s some earthy, almost roasty malts underneath. Beauty.

Bottle pour at Quintessence 2025. Pours murky mahahony with a pink head. Great barnyard funk, almost horse blanket, dark grape character on the nose. Flavour has musty old blankets, lots of barnyard funk, dark red grapes, good tannins. This is excellent.
Sour and fruity, sweet, vinous. Red grapes, jammy, rich and smooth. Fantastic.

Bottle at Quintessence. Deep purple. Like my other reviews, tons of fruity and spicy grapes. I don't get much age at all here. Lovely.

750mL bottle shared by Dani at the SP LC Member party, 1/21/25.
Clear bright violet-magenta.
Fruity, vivacious nose, a bit more intensity but also young fruit and acidity than the older bottle I had at Ma Che. Still fantastic and promising, but in need of even more age to develop some greater funk and deeper complexity.

750mL bottle at Ma Che, 2020 cork, drunk 5/13/24. Magenta-sangiovese. Clear. Light pinkish head steadily to ring. Fruity, bright, robust and with well-macerated and mellowed grape. Gentle oak and vanilla. Some acid on the end but mellow and surprisingly malty overall. Malty, mellow, juicy, mild oak, well-aged grape acid. It's juicy as hell and the grape tannin only builds towards the end, balancing the malt and other sugar. Needs a bit more time to develop some more personality, I think. But as is, it's bright, malty, juicy, mellow and incredibly drinkable.

2015 bottle shared at the brewery. Deep ruby pour with an off-white head. Loads of concord-like blue grapes are both in the aroma and taste, some berries show too, heavy on the tannins, very dry and acidic, with an elegant funk. Great depth and complexity.

Veinine, mõru, väga tanniinine, hapu, kuiv, tugev sõnnik. Ok, varem meeldis rohkem, nüüd on tasakaalust välja läinud.
