Pours light brown from the bottle. A frothy to foamy head lingers. Aroma is strongly of honey at the outset. Over time this lessens and a caramel note is noticeable. So are mild mineral notes. Taste is sweet, full of honey. Not bad at the outset but a bit cloying over time. It’s also a one trick pony— not much else is going on here. Body is light, a bit clingy, and the brew fails to fully hide the 6% ABV. There’s a mild alcohol burn at the end. Overall, drinkable but rather rough and uneven.

@ Kaunas Brewpub. Coppery color with an off-white and creamy head, good lacework and mild duration. Aroma has notes of light toasted malts, light honey with flowery hints. Flavor is slightly sweet, good maltiness with a light toasty mouthfeel. Smooth on palate with light bitterness in the final.

Commissioned honey beer for a Lithuanian brewpub, tasted at Delirium Café. Thick and creamy, egg-white, very stable head over a deep copper coloured beer. Aroma of caramel, honey, iron, lemon zest, iced tea, old cookies and biscuit; some oxidation setting in. Taste begins sweetish, honeyish but not too cloying, medium carbo, caramelly malts, thin body (thinned out by age, I assume), bit metallic, soft grassy hops in the finish. Acceptable as a honey beer but not much more. I suspect the basic beer is a pale lager?

Pours a somewhat amber color, clear, with a slightly off color white head. Decent foam. The aroma is malty and also as you would expect there is the addition of honey. Not strong but still pretty noticeable. The taste is sweet followed by some bitterness also. You can almost taste the honey. Not bad, but nothing really rememberful.
