Keyaki fall 2016. Light chocolate and roasted coffee on the nose. More coffee on the palate. Light bodied, but nice roasty notes. Probabaly their best beer at Keyaki. --- Beer merged from original tick of Stout on 18 Sep 2016 at 14:34 - Score: 6

On tap at GJBF Osaka 2015. Dark brown, almost black in the glass with a tan head. Roasty chocolate nose with a med-light body and a dry finish. The taste is a roasty cocoa - pretty solid.

Bottle. Roasted malt aroma, some cream, dark chocolate, minerals. Straightforrd and nice. Shiny, pitch black with a tall, frothy, tan head. Roasted malt and cafe au lait flavor, burnt wood, dark chocolate, with a tart edge. Slightly salty finish, very burnt. Rather simple and thin, but decent. Their best from this batch.

Bottle, courtesy of faroeviking. A clear, dark brown beer with a beige head. Roasted nose, coffee-like. Dry on the palae with caramel and roasted malts. Dry, roasted finish. An easy drinkable beer, but really boring, I wouldn’t last a night on only this. 090822
