330 ml bottle. Unclear yellow, foamy head. Lime juice, some grass, sourdough. Dry sourness, some bitterness. Light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, dry sour finish. Way to sour, like a lime juice flavoured Pils. Not sure if it is supposed to be like this.

330ml bottle [Thanx to bartlebier, who’s neither "phlegmatic" nor "Flegel", but knows to appreciate a "gepflegtes" beer]. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally malt spicy, grassy hoppy aroma, a touch of hay and dry, woody, yellow apple. Taste is minmally strawy, grainy, a touch of protein, subtle pale malty sweetness. As the ambiguity of "gepflegt" leaves the field open for a wider range of interpretations, maybe the proper understanding here is in the sense of maintained custom instead of cultivation and care. Not bad, though.

Bottle(kindly donated by Quack-Duck!): Pale golden to golden, clear, small and stable white head; dryish grainy nose bitter and honeyish background plus a very slight metallic tinge; moderately dry bitter-sweet flavour, relatively soft, light bodied, but not watery ; slightly lingering dryish herbal-hoppy nose. Nothing special, but still O.K. …

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, spicy, grasy, light sourish notes. Modest dry background. Finish moldy-malty, still some grasy notes. Okay.

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw, minerals, and a bit of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, minerals, and malt, leading to a dry bitter finish.
