A Robust beer aged in a cellar for almost two years in a single large sherry barrel from Andalucia. It was brewed with organic malt and hops. It is an homage to those early times when the notion of time had a different meaning. A collaboration with my dear friend Jan K. of Hibernata brewing project (Jan's alter ego brewing project while still running the brewing operation in Pivovar Lajka), with whom we share a mutual love for classic beers and our affinity for delicately rustic beers. Here we present you with Saturn. Brewed, fermented and aged as our interpretation of a doppelbock with truly refined character.

Bottle 0.75l. Almost clear, ruby amber colored. AROMA- vinous, red wine, sherry, wooden barrel, plum, cherry, lightly alcohol. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, lightly sour, lightly bitter, cherry, plum, toffee, sherry, barrel, dark grapes. Fuller bodied. Great.

Flaska från Métaphore, 2021. Rubinröd/brun, klar med ljusbeige krona. Var väldigt nyfiken på denna. I doften doppelbock - vörtbröd, lite torkad frukt, rågbröd, maltigt. Viss funkighet. Blir mycket tydligare i smaken. Brettigt, lätt syrlig, väldigt mycket funk, ek. Sherry-fatet kommer fram väldigt tydligt. Det är spännande och intressant, men för egen del håller det inte helt ihop.
