50cl bottle from Bernieโ€™s, Solihull. Golden amber with a thin white head and lively carbonation; musty malt aroma with some citrus; light grapefruit bitterness to start then developing a stale biscuity body; some gentle hops to finish. Very disappointing.

Bottle from Oakchurch Farm Shop, Staunton on Wye, Herefordshire, consumed 20-09-09 Pours somewhere between a warm gold and amber though nothing like the chestnut it describes it as being like on the bottle, white head sits atop. Some yeast and malt on the nose, touch of cobnut. Decent bitterness in the mouth, touch of lingering sweetness, soft, touch of vanilla Tbone is right there is a very definate lagery feel about this beer. Really enjoyed this. A6 A3 F7 P4 Ov14 3.4

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grains, grassy, some bready malts. Flavour is quite much the same along with quite strong notes of cooked vagetables.

Bottle conditioned (at Chriso, BB 12/2009, bottle from Utobeer). Pale amber color, small white head. Grainy nose. Grainy and grassy flavor, a bit malty aftertaste. Tastes more like a lager than an ale.
