April 2008. Very mild mild! A trace of fruit in the malt and a little minerals in the slightly bitter finish.

Cask@GBBF2009 (as Dark Mild). Very dark brownish amber colour, close to black. Not much head. Aroma is dark chocolate, dark fruits along with some notes of leather. Flavour is quite much the same along with some rather meaty notes as well.

Cask Conditioned at Wenlock Arms, London
Black color. Too light aroma. Some caramel and chocolate flavor; I’m not a lover of Milds, but at least this one has a light cheesy touch that I appreciate.

[Gravity cask at Milton Keynes beerfest] Black with a thin brown head. Rather bitter roast malt, vaguely chewy and dry - not many other flavours than the roast. Bit of a struggle to drink it to be quite honest.

Half pint on gravity. Black body with ruby highlights. Thin, beige head. Some laceworks. It offers notes of malt in aroma and a taste of roasted malts with a touch of liquorice. Light bitter ending. Watered mouthfeel (afternoon session at London Drinker BF, 12.03.2008).

Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 2007. Brownish colour with no head. Malts are excellent. Brilliant mild. Lots of roasted flavours, grainy but not powdery. Great, great mild. Finish is just so roasty and gorgeous.
