Clear, dark amber body with laceworks on the glass. Sweet fruity aroma. Dark bitter fruity smell leading to a smooth bitter ending. Diluted in the mouth and rather thin palate (Cask, third pint at GBBF, 07.08.2008).

Cask at Doctor Duncan’s Liverpool. Not sure what this is supposed to be. It certainly is not an IPA. Bit weak, amber coloured and just not enough flavour anywhere, there is a bit of sweet malt and a bit of tangy hops, but it really does not go anywhere. Disappointing from a good brewery

[Cask at GBBF 2004] An amber beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is sweet and slightly hoppy as well as caramelic. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel - but where is the hops? This is not an IPA - but a bitter as it is listed.
