Cask-conditioned at the Pear Tree, Hook Norton 30/08/10. Hazy deep gold with a decent white head. Light, citrus aroma with some sweetness and floral hops. Very easy, summer drinking, with lemon and orange fruit, grainy malts and a dry finish. Good stuff.

Cask, gravity at Shrewsbury Folk Festival, 29.08.10 watching a John Kirkpatrick music for Morris workshop. Pours orange gold with a white head, touch of haze. The aroma is a little shy, but taste is good, touch sweet maybe but very likeable, plenty of spices showing notably ginger along with a flurry of bittersweet lemon, bloody good even if it isn’t really like any wheat beer that I would generally class in that catergory.
