GBBF. Cask. Clear amber beer. Light semi soft and semi dry palate. Dry even malt with well balanced hop. Yet another perfectly fine beer if you like dull English Bitters.

Cask @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, caramel, butter notes, moderate hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090805]

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Gold with a thin scummy cream head leaving good lacing; malt aroma; fruity malt flavours with a hint of orange; good bitter finish from traditional English hops. Pleasant.

Cask@GBBF2009. Coppery golden colour, small beige head. Aroma is wood, fruits, grass and earth. Flavour is quite much the same along with bready malts and some slight wooden bitterness.

Cask@GBBF 2009. Deep amber color, small off-white head. Light lemony - crystal sugar aroma. Flavor has some sweetness and light lemony notes. Short sweetish finish, low bitterness in the aftertaste. Very lame.
