Inspired by the mystery of the Baltic Sea, Anomaly is a cold-fermented Baltic Porter crafted with precision and intrigue. By taming German lager yeast at low temperatures, we create a beer as smooth as dark waters, balancing roasty chocolate, dried fruit, and a whisper of smoke. At 8.5% ABV, it’s unexpectedly drinkable, with sweetness and bitterness charting the perfect course. A delicious enigma in every glass.

473 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with full bubbly tan head. Aromas of soft roasted malts, chocolate, and cola. Flavors of nutty chocolate and roasted malts with a bit of sugar. A sweet but nice, modern Baltic Porter.

Dark brown with a medium head. Rather chocolatey aroma so nothing like a Baltic porter. On the palate, though, there's some of the correct character, more liquoricey notes and a fair bit of fruitiness, with some alcohol late.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a deep dark brown with a medium beige head. Aroma is full of gentle vanilla and toasted bready malt. Flavour is roastier for a Baltic porter, with gentle coffee, vanilla, and moderate roast. Nice malty depth, with more roast than usual for the style. Very good.

4oz pour at The Magnet. Pours black with a beige head. Deep roasted malt on the nose. Flavour also has a deep roasted malt character with a full body. Very nice strong porter.
