six barley malts, including a touch of organic rye. The opalescent golden color of Sunrye is a result of its unfiltered nature. Light and crisp, this brew was made for slaking summer thirsts.

Bottle. Thought this one is being judged way too harshly. Yes, it’s not the best tasting beer around but I thought it was ok and I would rockmmend it and will drink again.

At GBBF 2009. Hazy gold, strawberry flavours. It’s ok, a bit down on flavour, good on strawberry. OK-ish. But just some poorish body.

Gravicask, one-third pint. Slightly unclear golden body. Naked surface. Discreet aroma of lemony hops. Sweet fruit-grainy flavour. Thin and rather unvaried (GBBF, 05.08.2009).

Cask@GBBF2009. Yellowish golden colour, small bubbly head. Aroma is nectar, fruits, alcohol (!) and rather sweet notes. Flavour is pineapple, mango, some grassyness as well. Very fruity and also has some slight vanillaish notes.

Cask@GBBF 2009. Bright yellow color, small white head. Strong tropical fruity (kiwi) aroma, also some fruit sugar. Light palate. Flavor has fruity sweetness, some tropical fruits (kiwi, apricot, pineapple). Aftertaste is short. This is basicly a good beer, just needs a bit more body. Reminds me about Beer Here’s Fat Cat a bit.

No head looks like a pale lager. Barely any smell. Taste? What taste? There is barely any taste in this beer at all. Easy to drink, but not exciting in any sense of the word. Some rye flavors, and less hops than Bud Light.

Overall Impression: A pretty typical summer ale, not a whole lot of exciting flavors in this one, probably best for outside/hot day/quick drinking consumption.
