Draft at Euston Tap. Fark, rich amber with thick fluffy head. Ight malty aroma, taste follows with soft malt and light caramel flavors. Lighter in flavor and aroma, but had an overall lovely feel.

Clear amber beer, white head. Traditional enough ESB. Slightly sour fruitiness to the taste and aroma. Nice bitter aftertaste but the sickly-sourness isn’t really my cup of tea.

Sampled @ Craft Clerkenwell. Clear amber color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, bitter, lightly dusty. Average body and carbonation. Ok beer.

Keg. Klares bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch nach rotem malz, leicht karamellig. Geschmack mild karamellig, nussig, schwach hopfig.

Cask at the Maidenhead Beer Festival, July 2016. Pale chestnut with a ring of white head; floral aroma with a touch of malt; dry taste with a light caramel taste; then a dry biscuity finish with some spice. Pleasant.

Cask at The George, Croydonia. It pours clear rich amber with a decent off-white head. The nose is fresh, earthy, woody, light caramel, brown bread and a touch of dried apricot. The taste is smooth, bitter, wood, brown bread, some bitterness, toasted nut, caramel and a touch of tannins with a dry, woody finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A pleasant, easy - drinking bitter.

Cask @ C4 Tap Takeover. Pours Dark amber with a bubbly head. Crackers, soft citrus and bread. Grassy and citrussy bitterness. Softness.. Lovely!

On cask at Hallamshire House, Sheffield - suspiciously like Lord Marples, but until the admins merge it, why not rate it. Absolutely nothing wrong with this, a bit bland, but so much better than so many others I’ve had this year. Nonetheless, I can’t think of much to add to an average beer.
