@Indyman - Clear, light brown. It’s a straightforward classic style English Bitter. Thin body, malty taste, hint of apple.

Cask at the Victoria, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a big frothy white head and loads of sticky lace. The aroma is light malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a smooth creamy malt light hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A super smooth tasty and well kept session ale. I would drink this until the cows came home

Cask at Cloisters. Pours clear amber, thick white head. Malty, raisin aromas,, light biscuit. Taste is more caramel malt and fruit. Not what I expected, but a very nice bitter.

On cask at Cloisters. Appearance -attractive amber to red. Nice head. Nose - cake mixture and some sultanas. Taste - more fruit cake with biscuity edge. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and an elegant finish. Overall - great beer for 4%.

Cask at In de Wildeman. Slightly hazy deep amber colour, no head. Aroma of nuts, hint of earth, toast, caramel, grass. Flavour is light to medium-sweet, malty, nutty, toast, caramel, firm nutty and grassy bitter finish. Light-bodied, oily mouthfeel. Well-executed Bitter with character, but was clearly not in the mood for this.

Gravity cask @ In De Wildeman. Hazy amber color. Aroma’s of fruit, caramel, a bit grain. Flavor is light sweet, with hints of fruity acidity and caramel. Finishes lightly dry, caramellish and moderate bitter.

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico, 01/11/13. Clear copper golden with a good sized bubbly off white head. Nose is floral hops, light breas sough, biscuit malt, earthy, straw, light fruit. Taste comprises biscuit malts, grass, orange, touch of caramel, straw, earthy, herbal, floral. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, great condition on this beer, subtle bitter notes at the close. Decent enough bitter with a floral/herbal tang to it.

Cask @ Railway Inn, Greenfield. Dark golden with a small head. Its smooth texture is its dominant characteristic but also has a mild malty-fruitiness to it, and a strong bitter finish.
