Bottle (5.0% ABV) from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pine and and underripe pineapple. Flavour of lime zest, orange pith and pine. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A tasty pale ale in excellent condition.

From tap at the taproom in Bermondsey 30.03.25. Translucent pale yellow straw colour. Diminishing white head. Excellently refreshing aroma and taste of pale malt, succade, lemon, lemon & lime marmalade, and lemon candies. Crisp mouthfeel.

Bottle. Beer Central Sheffield. Hazed gold. Stunning swede. Bit of spicy privet leaf hoppage here. Some citrus. Clean malts. Taste has some sweetness. A little dry. Earthy privet leaf bitterness. Nicely drinkable although not spectacular. Earthy dry bitter finish.

500ml bottle at 5%, picked up at Westhill Service Station.it pours ever so slightly hazy yellow - blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, fresh, mellow stone fruits, apricot, persimmon, papaya, white bread, biscuit and a touch of green pine. The taste is firmly dry, bitter snap, touch green, pine needles, light spice, pithy, zesty citrus, waxy peel, bitter orange, grapefruit, floral accents, stone fruits, apricot, persimmon and the like. Finish is lingering green bitterness. Medium and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Decent drinker, but wouldn't stand out against other Kernel pale ales.
