GBBF Cask. Very dark brown beer, just about clear. Light fresh porter, not too bitter or dry. Lovely light mild chocolate and a little coffee. Finishes smooth and creamy. Very nice indeed.

Cask@GBBF2009. Deep brown colour with some rubyish notes. Head is small and beige to the colour. Aroma is roasted malts, some mild coffeeish and nutty notes as well as mild caramel and wooden notes. Flavour is smoked wood, dark berries, some earth, caramel and also has some grassyness to it.

Cask@GBBF 2009. Dark ruby color, small mostly vanishing beige head. Aroma of coffee and some nuts. Smooth palate. Some burned malts, coffee and light sweetness in the finish. Pleasant porter. Not earthshaking, but drinkable.
