We called this cyder Imperial in honour of our forefather JB Chevallier's success at the Imperial Fruit Show in 1921. Every year we craft a special vintage. This is our 289th.
An exceptional full-bodied cyder, made with a blend of muscovado sugar and a single year's harvest of bittersweet apples.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Number 289. Appearance - golden with steady carbonation and some lacing. Nose - wood and apple skins. Taste - tangy combination of green and bruised apples. Still some wood. Palate - tangy and medium bodied. Dry tangy finish. Overall - good stuff.
