Can picked up from Speciaalbierpakket, Netherlands as part of a 2 pack drinking this sat outside at home Attenkirchen Thursday 9th April 2020, weather is glorious, however we are now into day 22 of CORVID-19 enforced lockdown, listening to Lost Horizons - Ojala . Pours dark brown almost black with a huge frothy light beige head. Soft mouthfeel, lots of coffee from the outset both on the nose and in the mouth. Smooth, well balanced roastiness, a little chocolate and caramel combine but overall this does exactly what it says on the tin, it's a well crafted coffee stout.

355ml can. Darkest brown colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige head. Roasty, dark malty aroma with notes of coffee, roasted coffee beans, hints of mocha, a touch of instant coffee. Taste is slightly bitter, roasty dark malty, notes of coffee, roasted coffee beans, some mocha, a sweet-ish touch of honey, moderate hoppy and roasty bitterness. Full body, oily texture, minimally coarse carbonation. One-sided but not monotonous coffee predominance. Good.

Draught @ City Hops. Opaque dark brown with very small frothy beige head that's gone instantly, coffee latte aroma, low carbonation, mildly sweet, medium bitter coffee taste, thin body, long finish. A bit thin, but quite tasty.

Bottle. Strong black coffee, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Black with small head. Lightly sweet coffee, milk chocolate, and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Nice body. Great coffee flavor without the sweetness.

Bottle: Deep rubied-brown with a tall dark tan head. Chocolate, coffee roast aroma. Taste is initially sweet.....Coffee with cream and sugar, chocolate malt....Then a nice, increasing, coffee ground/dark chocolate bitter. Rich....only a hint of alcohol heat. Really nice....
