Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Deep dark brown color, almost opague. Hints of oak, vanilla, licorice and dried fruit in both aroma and flavor. Floral notes. Surprisingly easy drinker.

Musta olut ruskealla mokkaisella, aika pienellä vaahdolla.

Black colour, off-white head. Aroma of raisins, caramel, coffee, cacao and vanilla. Flavour sweet raisins, vanilla, coffee and whisky. Bit thin. Finish raisins, cacao, molasses. Decent, but held on to this one for a bit too long, think it was better when more fresh.

Thanks to Finn for sharing a 500ml bottle. Partially remaining tan-coloured head leaving good lacing at the upper level of the glass. Pitch black body. Drying aroma of cocoa and liquorice. Brown malty flavours alongside moments of ash, oak and liquorice. Semi sweet malty ending. Well bodied. Velvety in the mouth. A pleasure to drink a brew like this, very nice (at Finns place in Tromsø 27.05.2014).

Flaske 0,5l fra Alko Muonio. Delt med Rune under rateseanse på Nerstranda 27 Mai 14. Svart. OK litt farget skum som flater ut. Prikklacing. Beskjeden aroma av røstet malt. Smaken er behagelig og sammensatt. Røstet malt i forgrunnen. Alkoholen godt kamuflert.

Opaque dark brown color, good steady beige head, lace. Oaky aroma with vanilla and toasted chocolaty notes. Medium-bodied. Quite dry flavor, wood, licorice and dark malts. Tasty although quite simple.

[Thanks to oh6gdx]. Bottle. Dark brown colour, almost black with a good presence of a beige head with good duration and moderate lasting. Aroma is roasty, black chocolate, vanilla and smoky notes. Flavor is quite similar as aroma, coffee and black chocolate notes, hints of smoke and ashes, moderate bittery and slightly dry. The final is black chocolate and strong coffee with a light bitterness.
