(Tap) clear, bright, very dark reddish brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of roast, molasses; creamy palate; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

Draught @ the source. Dark brown with reddish tint, small frothy beige head, mocha aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter mocha-coffee taste, thin body, long bitter finish. Very smooth and well balanced porter.

[2/1/17] Draught at Cambridge Brewing Company in Cambridge. Black with a tan head. Chocolate, coffee, roast, sweetish, bitterish finish. Nice.

Draft at the source. Dark brown with a beige head. Strong roasted malt aroma. Taste is roasted malt with chocolate notes. Finish is a bit acidic.

Pours black into a shaker. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Charred toffee and espresso aromas. Dark chocolate and dark pit fruit upfront turning to espresso in the bitter hop finish.
