This dry hopped extra pale ale has an undeniably pleasing aroma and clean crisp finish. A mythical legend echoes in our brewhouse- that St. Lupulin, the archetypal hop head devotes his endless summers to endless rows of hops, tending to the flowers and beloved resin within, lupulin.

Golden copper with a white head. Floral and citrus notes. Super fresh profile. Light sweetness. It not from the malt. Void of any malt profile, really. Harkened back to the good old days of a proper pale ale. Delicious.

Can sample at a tasting Tom L’s place. Thanks Tom L. Golden. Aroma of fruity hops, light stale hint. Flavor has light graininess, and bitterish fruity hops, with a light stale hint. Light to medium-bodied.

Tap. Deep gold with a hazy, fine head. Golden malt nose, clean citrus hops. Dry, crisp malt flavor with decent hops. Not huge, but solid and well balanced.

On tap at Angel's Trumpet Ale House, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of floral hops upfront, followed by biscuity malt. Flavour isn't overt dynamic or deep, bringing out floral hops, light fruitiness and dry biscuity malt. Well-balanced and easy to drink. Well-made.

I picked up this can at the brewery in Fort Collins. Odell St-Lupulin Extra Pale Ale 6.5% Man does this golden brew have a hugely fragrant hop bouquet featuring minty pine and lemongrass. My first whiff brought to mind an image of freshness, in particular an air freshener but it is way more appetizing than that. Medium bodied with a raspy mouthfeel and a dry finish. The taste has a good level of sweetness and then gives mint, pine and mild lemon. I like how the aroma and taste match up well though the aroma is a touch better. A very nice pale ale, I can see why with those awesome labels and this kind of solid beers it's no wonder they're one of the U.S.'s mainstay craft breweries. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at home split with Sarah. Clear bright yellow/ golden coloured pour with a lasting pure white head. Aroma is hop resin, little lemon citrus, grassy. Clear bready malts on the nose. Flavour is composed clean bready grains, light hay, mixed citrus orange and lemon citrus hop, light grassy, resinous hop. Very well balanced and sessionable. Palate is medium light, little hop resin on the tonuge. Very clean ferment. Really tasty.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is grassy hop, pine needle. The flavour is moderate bitter with a lovely mellow fresh citrus, grassy hop, light spice palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.
