It has that true lambic taste, neutral and wonderfully tart. But it has a little more ashiness compared to the greats. Het lagerhuys ams

Bottle pour at Indie Alehouse, pours a clear copper, no head. Nose brings out lots of old horse blanket, leather and gentle funk. Flavour is along the same lines, with old horse blanket, leather and old musty earthy notes. A little flat and old, but it's pleasant.

Tumbler showing deep amber with sparse white foam. The nose shows moderately intense notes of brett and sweet malt. The palate is flat and medium bodied. Light tart with a light sweet malt and a tea like astringency.

2 year old lambiek. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow colour and a white head with some retention. Aroma's are sourish, wood, still quite mild. Retronasal it's mild sour and woody. Flavour is light moderate sour, even a little bit sweet. Light bodied. Good carbonation (must have been added or saturated, as it was more carbo than you'd normally get with a 2 yr old lambiek).
