Keg at Akkurat, Stockholm. Gorgeous lambic nose. Flat gold. Metallic edge to the taste. Thin. Not the best.

Sample from jerrycan at Carnivale Brettanomyces 2025, John Versyck blending workshop. Didn't take many notes, just enjoyed good beers and good company. What I do remember: 2 to 2.5 years old. Mint, subtle tartness, oak wood, floral, hints of licorice and vanilla, some dry bitterness.

From tap at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. 3 years old. Grainy and funky with straw, notes of apple and wood. Moderate sour, finishes dry. Solid.

Almost flat, sour, dry. Really soft and smooth, too soft and smooth. Not bad.

(Poured from a bag-in-a-box, at One Pint Pub, 20240618) The beer poured deep golden and lightly hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had tartness, fruitiness and wood. Palate was medium bodied and dry with low carbonation. Flavours were wood, tartness, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was tart and bitter. Tasty but too lifeless brew.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 15 Feb 2024) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with sour grapes, citrus, oak wood and barnyard. Fruity, tart taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, green grapes, oak wood and barnyard. Hardly any bitterness. Medium body, dry. Tasty and well balanced, with a fresh acidity. Very nice.

--Keg at Akkurat, Stockholm. -- Hazy paleish amber, minimal head. Barnyardy funky nose with some lemon. Tart with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Intense funky barnyard, quite mild citric acidity. Mid bitter finish. Complex, pleasant and delicious.

6 years old @ Paddenbroek, Gooik. Hazy, very dark for a lambic, almost chestnut brown murky colour, no foam. Complex nose, vinous, woody, dry, sweet caramel, a bit bready. Very interesting.
