Ein untergäriges Bier mit einem Alkoholgehalt von 5,0 % vol. Unser helles Lagerbier hat eine angenehme Bittere und ein sehr ausgeprägtes Hopfenaroma. Der Antrunk ist sämig und lässt eine elegante Süße erkennen, die in Balance mit einer dezenten Bitterkeit steht. Die Süße tritt schnell in den Hintergrund, und ein solider, stattlicher Bierkörper, der umhüllt ist von anregenden Hopfenaromen, erscheint. Das Finale gestaltet sich außerordentlich freundlich und animiert zum nächsten Schluck.

1L swing top bottle from the brewery. Nearly clear golden, lasting white head. Malty, bready aroma. Sweet, malty flavour. Doughy with light hoppy bitterness and a little herbal spice in the finish. Too sweet but still quite quaffable. Nice to have this one in a man-sized bottle.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, slightly cloudy straw colored. Aroma is slightly dry grainy, hay, dried grain, paper, weeds, minerals, bark, light malts. Taste is slightly dry grainy, weeds, hay, dried grain, paper, minerals, bark, medicine. Medium to longlasting bitterness, watery and harsh medical mouthfeel. Meh!

On tap at the brewpub. Leicht trübes goldgelbes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig, frisch malzig, hopfig. Geschmack getreidig malzig, grasig bitter.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops, with a note of malt. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with rough & sweetish estery notes and touches of malt. Bitter and slightly paperlike finish. OK but more like a Zwickel than a Helles. (The bottled version is clearly a Helles, in terms of both appearance and taste.)

Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, straw, grain, light hoppy, citrus, light butter notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration.
