Bottle from Great Grog. Hazy pale golden body with a thin white head that slowly fades. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw, lemon, yeast and a hint of white pepper. Flavour of lemon sweets, pear drops and a hint of banana. Thin body with a light, oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A bit dull...

Bottle from Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Cloudy, straw colour. Billowy, white, sticky, head. Bready, yeasty lemon. Hint of spice. Taste is light dry. A hint of pithy bitterness. Palate is soft and a little fresh. Dry finish. Not a lot going off, but very refreshing.

355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy peachy orange. Nice lacy head. Nose - pungent overripe mango and a slightly fusty yeast note in the background. Taste - peaches with white pepper all wrapped in yoghurt. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy and a dry yeasty finish. Overall - not the freshest Wit I’ve had. Quite complex though.

4oz pour at Jack Rose DC. Pours a hazy straw yellow with some sudsy white head. Nose is super estery, coriander, herbs, white pepper, perfume, dried grass. Flavor is kind of gross, oddly sweet, coriander, heavy Tums, straw, candle wax. Chalky finish.

355ml bottle from Ales by Mail

BBE 04/14 - Pours clear yellow with a small bubbly head. Aroma of spices, apricot, orange peel, hints of wheaty malts and citrus. Taste is smooth, sweetish, slightly spicy and wheaty with hints of apricot and orange peel. Finish is a bit stuffy and malty with hints of spices. Decent wit, but nothing special here.
