12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a pale yellow with about a finger of white head. Aroma of wheat, coriander and some spices. Taste is about the same. Lightly sweet. Light bodied with a relatively thin texture. Fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, it’s ok...but probably the worst beer I’ve had by Flying Dog.

Cloudy orange beer. Crisp palate. A nice orange lemon streak through the wheaty malt. Completed by a carbonated bite. Refreshing!

Funny, I don’t usually like Flying Dog, and I don’t usually like witbiers, and so I guess 2 wrongs do make a right, because I liked this refreshing and authentic wit. Spicy nose, very phenolic with a lot of coriander and clove, zesty light palate, clean (but for phenols) finish, semi-dry. Pale yellow-white, modest head, plenty of carbonation.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a very pale, hazy yellow with a brief, thin, white head. The aroma is hay, orange rind, cantaloupe, coriander, and bananas. The flavor is subdued sweetness up front, with a sour finish. There is a musty yeast flavor throughout. The palate is light, and a little sticky. Overall, a very mellow and easy drinking wit.

Not sure why the label has eyeballs flying out an exploding bar; how this art relates to a placid little witbier is beyond me. Pours well, hazy gold and with a lasting cap. Smells only a bit like soap, mostly like hefeweizen. Strong honey-and-hefe flavors up front, then a spicy, dry middle that flits away to nothingness on the finish. Gets very cloy as it warms, but cold Woody Creek drinks decent. (5/1/09)

Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours translucent pale yellow with medium white head. Big nice coriander aroma, not much lacing, and medium carbonation. Taste is coriander, wheat, and clove. One of the best american wit beers I have had.
