Golden coloured body with a copper and orange tint - nice! Aroma of fresh hops, a twang of citrus and metal and a good malt backbone. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive hops in the taste with a piney and citrusey taste all with a great malt backbone. Aftertaste not too potent, a perfect mix of hops and the light malt - no alcohol flavours and only a slightly tinny taset. Overall, a pretty good APA - good in these days of way over hopped and over alcohol Imperial IPAs! I sampled this beer on draught at the District ChopHouse in Washington, D.C. on 30-August-2007.

With Amarillo and Simcoe, I’m told
Blond color, persistent perlage that supports a persistent thin head. Strong aroma, quite original, fresh, fruity, pink grapefruit above all. Light body and mouthfeel, almost a Lager or a very simple Ale, but with a fierce hopping, pushing the pink grapefruit in front, lean resins then, and even ending with a metallic touch. Unbalanced, but at least it’s hopped!
