Draught at the brewpub, downtown
Cloudy blond color. The aroma is not bad, but midway between an Ale and a Lager. The mouthfeel is dry, but there is some malt flavor, covered by a quite strong bitterness. Atypical, but good with food.

Sampled this at Capitol City’s downtown location. Pours a completely transparent, bright yellow with a foamy, active crisp white head. Standard aroma, slightly fruity with apples and pears and a little grainy with a touch of lemon zest. Flavor was similar, some apple like fruit and lemon zest and a touch of fresh cut grass. Watery finish is nearly non-existent. Why make a Czech Pils when you have a Kolsch on the menu? What about this is Czech other than probably the Saaz hops? Would anyone order more than one of these?
