Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear deep golden with a dense off-white head. Very sweet malts in the nose. Solid malty body, very sweet malts and almost perfumy hops. Very discreet bitterness. 031009

Bottle, thanks Kappldav123. No nose. Amber. low carbonation, golden foamy head. Sweet start, lightbodied, some herbal hops. Mellow mouthfeel. Alcoholic sweetness retronasal. Meh.

The bottle looks good. The beer starts very washy, in the end really alcoholic. Not a good beer.

Frisch ist das Bier, dabei sind stets bockbiertypische Aromen zu erkennen, ohne das es alkoholisch wird. Der Mittelteil ist von einer dezenten herbe regiert, im Nachgeschmack setzt das Bier dann das gesamte Malz frei und lässt das Bier so harmonisch malzig ausklingen, allerdings steck auch eine gewisse Schärfe im Nachgeschmack, die jedoch nur leicht hervorsticht. Ein durchaus nicht zu verachtender Bock, der seine Höhepunkte deutlich im Nachgeschmack hat. Leider kommt der Mittelteil hierbei etwas zu kurz. Bottle. Old hop aroma. Clear, nice amber colour. Small white head. The flavour has a grassy hoppiness, more like flavour hops than aroma hops. Slightly rough bitterness. 5 3 5 3 12
