Bottle, 5.1%. Mild spicy hop aroma. Clear dark amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is mildly spicy, slightly rough bitterness. Like a milder version of Alt, which I happen to prefer to the more bitter ones.

Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, small off-white foamy layer; mild toasty nose with some fruitiness and faint traces of paper; moderate to robust sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; mild sweetish-toasty finish with some nuts and some aromatic hops in the aftertaste. A bit on the sweet side, but all in all a very pleasant and well crafted Alt........

Bottled at RBESG 2007. A dark amber beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel and light notes of acidity. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and straw, leading to a dry bitter finish.
